A Spell to Banish the Old Energy and Welcome in the New for A Home

Ingredients:

• A glass jar (must have a lid or stopper)
• Black Salt (banishing old/negative energies, protection)
• Rosemary (love, protection, 
• Basil (balance, love, relaxation, prosperity, cleansing,  protection, 
• Cloves (cleansing, growth, purification, repels negativity, 
• Lavender (peace, money, cleansing, happiness, sleep)
• Sugar (love, sweetness, luck)
• Pink Himalayan Salt (love, protection)
• Rose Petals (love, happiness, peace, blessed home, 
• Garlic Powder (banishing old energy, anti-theft, prosperity, cleansing, health)
• Sea Salt (cleansing, protection, purification, absorbs bad energy)
• Oregano (warmth, comfort, vitality, joy)
• Sesame Seeds (prosperity, protection, health
• Cinnamon (banishing negative/unwanted spirits, love, wealth, success)
• Thyme (releasing negativity, cleansing, balance, purification, health, sleep)
• 3 Bay Leaves (cleansing, strength, repels negativity, success)
• Clear Quartz (protection, cleansing)
• White Candle (cleansing, purity, peace)

Directions:

1. Open the jar with the intention of beginning something new.
2. Next layer each ingredient on top of the other while focusing on all the good things you want to occur in the house. The order is as follows: first black salt, then rosemary, basil, cloves, lavender, sugar, pink Himalayan salt, rose petals, garlic powder, sea salt, oregano, sesame seeds, cinnamon, thyme, 3 bay leaves, more sea salt, and finishing with more black salt
3. Place the piece of clear quartz on top of the last layer of black salt before putting the lid/stopper on
4. Seal the jar with the white candle wax and wait for it to harden.
5. Place the jar somewhere in your home where you feel it belongs or give it to a friend.
6. Follow up with your favorite cleansing method.

Notes on what I did:

I made this spell jar for my uncle as a gift for his first home. I wanted to make sure that both he and his pupper, Dixon, have the happiest and most love filled home possible. I also smoke cleansed his house with sage prior to him moving in next weekend.

during the colder months, a cup of hot cocoa can bring wonderful warmth and coziness. you can add a few spices to bring magick into the mug that inspires happiness, healing, and self-love. you will need:

☾ ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (self love and grounding)

☾ ½ cup granulated sugar (granting wishes)

☾ 1/3 cup hot water

☾ ¼ tsp salt

☾ 4 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)

☾ 1 tsp vanilla extract (love, restoring lost energy)

☾ 1 tsp fresh orange zest (abundance and happiness)

☾ a pinch of ground nutmeg (attracting prosperity)

☾ a pinch of allspice (warmth and healing)

combine the cocoa, sugar, salt, nutmeg and allspice with the water in a pot over medium heat. stir constantly until the mixture boils; continue stirring constantly for 1 more minute.

stir in the milk and continue to heat the mixture, without letting it boil. remove from heat and add vanilla and orange zest. serve immediately.

us witches get colds too

hello greenies! i’ve been getting sicker and sicker as the seasons change and so have my fellow witches. this is a loose recipe that i use for colds and i hope it can help. sorry if the measurements aren’t exact! 

for kettle:

• 4 cups of water
• 2 lemons
• chopped ginger (an inch? maybe less depending on how strong you want it)
• a small handful of peppermint (i have the hands of a child)
• 2 sticks on cinnamon
• honey (will put in at the end)

for cup

• 1 cup of water
• ¼ of an inch of ginger
• a few of leaves of peppermint
• half a stick ( if you have powder use like 1 tsp?) of cinnamon
• honey (will put in at the end)

directions

1. heat up water until it comes to a nice low boil/simmer. place ginger, peppermint, and cinnamon in. 
2. after 4 minutes place thyme and lemon.
3. ***for the lemon make sure you cut in half, squeeze out, and place the peels in the water (for kettles place 1 of the lemon shells in the water, for cup place a few slices). let sit for another 4 minutes. then when done put in cups!
4. put in as much honey as you want! (i use about a tablespoon per cup) stir clockwise and chant:

“Frost in the body, cast out.

Mother Earth bring to me health and wellness.

Bring to me the warmth of spring.

Frost in the body, cast out.”  

visualize a green light flowing into the cup as you chant and as you drink that same light travels into you.

A spell to enchant your pen to improve your writing, drawing, and creativity when using it.

You Will Need:

✒ Aventurine

✒ Carnelian

✒ Howlite

✒ Clear Quartz

✒ Sigil for Creativity

Steps:

✒ Cleanse yourself and your pen before performing spell

✒ In a cleared space place down your pen on top of the sigil you drew for creativity

✒ Encircle your pen with the crystals listed above in however manner you personally like

✒ Hover your hands above your pen

✒

“I enchant you, to bring me ideas, as I hold you in my hand, I will be inspired. I enchant you.” and repeat ‘I enchant you’ for as long as you desire.

✒ Leave over night once you finish the chant to ensure it gets well charged and enchanted by the energies of the sigil and the crystals

Note: cleanse pen regularly in salt or in the moonlight to keep negativity and art/writing block away from it

This is a hex that will cause your target to learn their lesson and make their blunders come to light, whether it be fucking with you, a loved one, a friend, whatever. This hex will make them learn.

What You’ll Need

• A sea shell with their name written on it
• Another sea shell, preferably the same type and size as the shell with the name on it
• Black string
• Metal tongs
• Paper
• Pencil/Pen
• Black Candle
• Black Salt
• Salt Water

What To Do

• Write each wrong they’ve done on separate pieces of paper.
• Burn each paper from the black candle and place each burning paper into the shell with the tongs.
• Sprinkle black salt onto the ashes inside the shell and flick the salt water over it while saying/thinking “Each wrong you’ve done to me and others will come to light and your errors will cost you, you will be treated the same by friends and strangers as you have treated others until you learn your lesson and make amends with everyone you’ve hurt.”
• Take the other shell and tie it to the shell with ashes in it to close the ashes inside.
• Bury the shell in a spot that will be shaded most parts of the day.
• Once you feel they’ve learned their lesson you can break the hex by digging it up and pouring the ashes and salt into a fire.

If you can I’d recommend doing this at nighttime, outdoors in the general direction of where the sea is from you.
