I just came across a reblog you made about other verses coping, and broading kin terms issues. I wanted to say thank you for making that post. I am only recently finding kin communities, though I’ve believed in past life of these types for a while and keep running across ‘wishkin’ folk. I feel like people treat me as a joke for taking kin seriously while they laugh and play with it. It is comforting to see I’m not alone in the sometimes negative effects and see someone fight for people like me.

Eh, go find all the greymuzzle fictionkind / otherkin / therians and go party with them like I do. I find you’ll get better results that way.

I have no use for wishkin or tumblrkin. I’ll break up friendships over it, and I see them as little better than ace exclusionists. They’re disrespectful little children and believe me, if I could act like my kintypes used to, I’d probably have them all executed for it. But alas I don’t have that kind of power any more, and that’s probably for the best.

The negative parts of being kin should be talked about. But unfortunately, as long as wishkin and tumblrkin and antis are privy to our community, we’ll never be able to.

I hate it, and I’m glad I’m not the only one. Welcome to the club, new kid. We’ll be glad to have you.
