Can someone who has a synpath explain to me exactly what it is?
I’ve read various definitions but I am still a bit confused whether or not it is something some by choice or not.
By definition, it’s effectively otherhearted – the creator didn’t know about otherhearted at the time. Mostly, I see the distinction as you use otherhearted for species / concetps, and synpath for things with proper names (with capitals and shit).
Like, you can be eaglehearted, but you’d be a synpath of Scott Pilgrim. It’s a linguistic difference, not actually one of definition. They’re all but identical in meaning.
