hey past-life otherkin, what was the worst way you died in a previous life? as a bat I was killed when I was struck by lightning while flying back to the roost.
that is really horrific, my fellow bat friend. If I have a past life, I can’t remember, but top five horrible ways to die right there. o.o
[counts on fingers]
Smoke inhalation while trying to save small children. Got stabbed to death in the middle of a battlefield. Got mercy-stabbed by a servant and then framed as a suicide because of my own insanity. Was annihilated so badly there wasn’t anything left of me while trying to convince my possessed brother to stop being possessed.
I’m leading the angst train, anyone want on board?
It’s a tie between being burned to death and being bisected.
Oh boy, time to talk about that one time someone figured out my time manipulation abilities, turned them against me, and monologued about how ~inferior~ I was as time kept slowing down… then stopped… then at some point during all that I was murdered. This left some pretty bad exotrauma, too, took me a long-ass time to realize none of what that loser said was true.
Oh jesus these are all brutal.
I uh. I spent about three days walking and slowly overheating after my cooling system was cut, and burning myself to death from the inside out. The synth-skin-melting part was the worst part of it tbh.
Okay I need to explain some physics here to our OP, the bat who claims to have died being struck by lightning. Thats not possible. Period.
It is literally not physically possible to be struck by lighting when not grounded. Its the same reason birds can rest on power lines. Electricity doesn’t work that way. SMH.
Maybe not in this world, but I see no reason that says the world / dimension they were in has to have the exact same rules.
I know in at least two of my worlds, you could have a six pack without flexing (impossible here w/o plastic surgery) and reality itself could collapse.
No need to quote physics when we’re talking reincarnation. And besides, if you’re willing to accept me being vaporized and leaving behind my armor (which really shouldn’t have survived either), you can probably accept disobedient lightning.
