After a lot of discussion and thinking, I’ve figured out what I can offer those wanting to help me out over the next several months – knowledge.
I get a lot of asks each week for things like “How do you host a tea party?” or “How did you make that ____,” or “Do you have a recipe for your ___?”
My disability benefits will end in January, and honestly, I’m terrified. There’s a mountain of debt I need to get through before I could even think about building a life of my own. Learning to drive, getting a car, and eventually, a real job. Things I never got to do due to my health.
So this is what I’d like to do. I have a lot of information I can pass on – tutorials, recipes, you name it.
Anyone can live that Thrifty Princess life, and I want to teach everyone how.
The first goal will be to compile everything into a free .pdf for everyone to have.
After that? I’d like to publish the book for real.
And all of this starts with you guys. I’ve never seen such a strong support group like I have seen here on tumblr. If even 1/10th of my followers all pledged $1 on my patreon (that’s only $12 a year!), I could do more than survive, I could live.
When will my life begin?
